This is a beautiful but damaged vintage Burmel scarf. Made of silk, it has a blue border surrounding the large diagonal patchwork print that features a dazzling assortment of op-art geometric patterns in a wavy grid... very cool!  
 
Pre-owned, used; sold AS IS. Unfortunately the dyes used to print the scarf were often not colorfast so they bled or ran when the scarf got wet. Please take a good look at the pictures, especially the last one that shows an example of the water damage. The scarf is otherwise in good condition.
