Here's a vintage rayon fabric remnant with the original store tag attached at one end. From the Meier & Frank department store; they still had a fabric department when I was a teen in the 70s. It was AWEsome! The fabric is a solid blue sheer even weave rayon.
Measures 1 yd 22" long X 45" wide (unusually wide for vintage fabric)
I carefully removed the SHARP metal tag to open the piece and check for flaws. There's a couple of brown storage spots that should come out with careful washing. And their 'measurement' on the tag is overly optimistic, lol.
It has NOT been pre-washed or preshrunk. It's been in my own vintage fabric stash that's stored in my clean, heated basement.
