Vintage 50s Brown Paisley Silk Satin Scarf Occupied Japan
This is a glorious brown paisley silk satin scarf made sometime during the late 40s thru the mid 1950s. It’s labeled, “Top Hit Fashion, Baar & Beards, Made in Occupied Japan, 100% silk.”
The scarf is crepe-back silk satin with an almost-paisley design… rich russet brown with green & beige patterns and an ecru hand-rolled hem all around. The crepe back makes the satin especially luxurious to the touch, heavy yet supple. It’s a gorgeous scarf that I’d be thrilled to keep if I could wear this shade of brown.
Pre-owned, used; in good condition with no noted flaws. Exceptional condition for a vintage scarf!
