Well, if anyone is reading this, and you have been here before, you’ll see that I’m fiddling around with the graphics again. No, I just can’t leave well enough alone, I guess. And I’m probably going to play with my pretty pictures and colors again! I love the fact that I can make this look however I want it to if I can figure out how to do it. I don’t have to ask anyone else to do it for me. Of course, it’s playing hell with “proper branding” of this site. Maybe I’ll be satisfied eventually but now I’m like a kid with the BIG box of crayons. Not the 64 box, but the even bigger one that you hardly ever see! Or I’m like the gal in the art supply store with a juicy gift certificate looking at all the “Prismacolor” colored pencils. Don’t even get me started on Sharpie’s or watercolors! Learning to play with graphics on the computer has sort of taken over, and replaced embroidery for now. But I just found a super vintage linen tablecloth, that’s printed for stitching but not stitched at all yet. I might keep it, or I might sell it. Haven’t decided. I have another great one that was started and I’d like to finish it but finding the colors close enough to match the vintage cotton floss could be a problem. Or do I care if it matches exactly? Since no one else at my home would ever notice that the purple is a shade off, I’m being a little OCD even worrying. I mean, the family will eat what I put in front of them without noticing that sort of details. The only time they’ll notice is when they say “oops, mom, sorry about the spaghetti sauce on your tablecloth you slaved over for the last year!” In fact, that in a nutshell is why I’m leaning toward selling this beauty. Let someone else do the work and reap the sauce! Maybe they have figured out how to remove stains that I can’t budge.
